NMMS Scholarship 2022-23 : Online application can be made under National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme 2022. A new portal of Shala Darpan has been opened for online application for NMMS Scholarship given by the Central Government. National Means Scholarship Scheme 2022 sponsored schemes run by the central government. This scheme is started for those students who are from economically weaker section and stop their studies after class 8th. Under this scheme, scholarship is provided by the central government to girl students from class 9 to class 12.

NMMS Scholarship 2022-23

The central government has made this scheme to prevent children from becoming child laborers. So that children can easily study further. NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2022 is started by the Department of School Education and Literacy. Students who want to pursue further studies are unable to take further education because of their family status. He is able to apply during this scheme.

NMMS Scholarship 2022-23 Amount

The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship under the Ministry of Human Resource Development has done its job. This NMMS Scholarship was created by the Central Government in 2008. The sole purpose of giving scholarship is that the students who are from weaker section should stop studies after class 8 and not be able to get secondary level education. Therefore, scholarship is being provided by the central government to the students of class 9th to 12th. Under NMMS Scholarship 2022-23, ₹ 12000 is being given to the students annually.

NMMS Scholarship 2022-23 Eligibility Criteria

• The annual income of the student’s parent/guardian should not exceed ₹150000.
• Students applying online for National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) must have passed class 7. Students must have at least 55% marks in class 7th.
• Students taking benefit of this scheme should get education from government school or local government aided school.
• It is mandatory for a student to have at least 60% marks in class 10 marksheet to get scholarship for higher secondary school.
• Students who want to take scholarship in 12th they should have passed 11th class with 55% marks, reserved category students will get relaxation of 5% marks.

NMMS Scholarship 2022 Important Documents

Students will need important documents while applying under the NMMS Scholarship Scheme. If there is any discrepancy in any of the documents then the application will be rejected. That is, the benefit of the scheme will not be available.
