India’s middle-class individuals have limited financial resources, which affects their ability to purchase expensive medicine. Costs associated with expensive drugs cut into their budgets significantly. Keeping in mind the health and well-being of the economically weaker sections of the society, the government launched the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra Yojana.
