Objectives of Namo Lakshmi Yojana
The main objective of Namo Laxmi Yojana 2024 is to provide scholarship of ₹ 50000 to the girl students of class 9 to class 12 in Gujarat. This scholarship amount will be given in the form of 10-10 thousand rupees in class 9th and 10th and 15-15 rupees in class 11th and 12th. Due to this scheme, more and more girls will be encouraged to study, as well as girls will not face any problem in studying till class 12th.
Through this scheme, the government wants to empower girls economically and socially by bearing the cost of their education. So that girls can be prepared for better employment in the future. Apart from this, this scheme has been started to promote gender equality and to eliminate gender discrimination. Due to this scheme, the education of girls and their standard of living is improving.

- Under the Namo Laxmi Yojana run by the Gujarat Government, financial assistance in the form of scholarship is being provided to girl students studying from class 9 to class 12.

Eligibility for Namo Lakshmi Yojana Gujarat
- Only permanent residents of Gujarat will get the benefit of this scheme.
- Only girl students are eligible under this scheme.
- The benefit of the scheme will be available only to girl students from class 9th to class 12th.
- Girls studying in both government and private schools will get its benefit.
- The annual income of the family of the student applying should not exceed ₹200000.
- The age of the student applying should be between 13 years to 18 years.
