Now, this facility has been discontinued. Now applicant has to visit Aadhaar Enrollment / Update Center to register or update their mobile number in their Aadhaar. The update process can take up to 90 days.

To add your mobile number to your Aadhaar you should follow the following procedure.
- To know the address of the Aadhaar center visits the official page of UIDAI.
- Visit the nearest Aadhaar center.
- Collect the Aadhaar Card Correction Form from the center and fill it out completely.
- Enter the mobile number you want to update in your Aadhaar.
- Submit the Aadhaar form and provide your biometrics KYC for authentication.
- You will be given a receipt by the executive.
- The receipt contains an Update Request Number (URN).
- You can track the Aadhaar Update Status using URN.
- SMS will be sent to the mobile after the mobile number is updated in Aadhaar.
- Mobile numbers will be registered with your Aadhaar, then OTPs of your Aadhaar will start coming on your number.
- You can also check the updated status of your Aadhaar by calling UADAI’s toll-free number 1947.

What is the fee for registering Aadhaar with mobile number?
To register or update the mobile number on the Aadhaar card, the applicant has to pay a fee of Rs.25/- for availing of the facility from the Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center.
Whenever you will update your mobile number, then you will have to pay ₹ 25 / – as a fee. A fee is charged every time an Aadhaar update is requested.
