Objective of Gobar Dhan Yojana
The main objective of starting the Gobar Dhan Yojana by the government is to benefit the farmers of the country. Under this scheme, the government will buy cow dung from farmers at reasonable prices, which will increase the income of farmers and the cow dung purchased by the government will be used to make biogas. Under which a plant will be set up in a village in each district and biogas will be obtained through these plants through cow dung and waste material.
