In order to get the best quality education of class 6 to 12 for free, the State Examination Board is going to organize the Common Entrance Test for class 6, about which we will know all the information in this post.
The following schemes are being started by the Government of Gujarat from the next academic session 2023-24 through social partnership.
- Jnanshakti Residential Schools
- Gnanashaktti Tribal Residential Schools
- Gnanasetu Day Schools
- Rakshashakti Schools
In these schools, talented students studying in government schools of the state of Gujarat will be identified and provided future-oriented high quality education equipped with the best physical and digital infrastructure facilities. Modern educational facilities, residential hostels in residential schools, sports, art and skill training, best teaching methods and high quality teaching materials etc. will be provided for the holistic development of students.
Common Entrance Test 2023:
Talents of talented students will be nurtured and prepared for competitive examinations with career guidance. In the above schools as well as in the model schools, it is planned to take the state level Common Entrance Test for admission in the academic year 2023-24. All these schools will be from class 6 to 12 and the entire education will be free for all the students.
Eligibility for CET Exam:
Students who have studied from class 1 to 5 in government and aided schools and who have completed class 5 will be able to give the Common Entrance Test for class 6 in all the above schools. Admission to class 6 will be given on the basis of merit in this Common Examination.
Students who have completed 5th standard of independent / private schools can take this common entrance exam for admission to 6th standard of protected schools, model schools only. Admission to class 6 will be given on the basis of merit in this common entrance examination.

- Online Form Filling Period: 23 March 2023 to 05 April 2023
