Guidelines for Reservation
- The Reservations for SC/ST/OBC categories will be as per the instructions of the Government of India.
- The Bank of India (BOI) reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or not to fill up anyone of the vacancies, as per its requirement.
- Candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC) category but related to the ‘Creamy Layer’ are not entitled to the OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as ‘Unreserved’ (UR).

Clarification of Age for Eligibility(as on 01-04-2022):
- Candidates should not be below 20 years and not above 29 years as on 01 February 2023 i.e. candidates/Students must have been born not earlier than 01-02-1994 and not later than 01-02-2003 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualification for Probationary Officers (PO)
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the State/Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year or final Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally for the post subject to the condition that, if the candidates are called for an interview, they will have to produce the certificate of having passed the graduation exam on or before 01 February 2023. Candidates/Students having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD degree is on or before 01 February 2023. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible for the post.
